Philippe Delanoue – Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO, ABnote Europe

Philippe has been instrumental in shaping the smart card business in France. Since entering the industry 26 years ago, he has dedicated significant time and energy to improving the efficacy of the smart card market, working with bodies such as the European Payments Council (EPC), I.S.C.A.N (International Smart Card Associations Network) and the A.F.P.C (a French association, representing the interests of the card industry).

As CEO of CPS Technologies and Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABnote Europe, he is a strong believer in the importance of getting the chemistry right among teams of people. This trait has enabled him to build a highly responsive business, able to quickly meet the needs of a changing industry.

A few words from Philippe:Joining CPS turned out to be a pivotal point in my life and the company’s life too. Originally taken on board to close down what was then a struggling company, I turned it round to produce the largest bureau dedicated to banking cards in France. I attribute this success to the dedication of the production teams at CPS technologies, who remained committed to the business through the difficult early days.
