Objective
Keolis is one of Europe’s leading public transport operators, established in 13 countries on four continents. Wishing to illustrate their ability to support customers in new channels, Keolis commissioned ABnote to build a proof of concept for eTicketing.
Result:
ABnote produced a design specification for a secure issuance system that integrates with the transit operator’s ticketing platform and the existing payments processing solution. Maintaining the integrity and the security of the SAMs for the Calypso transit application was a major focus for the project. ABnote paid particular attention to this in the design process and came up with an architecture based on central hosting of the SAM in the ABnote secure data centre. ABnote subsequently build a robust technical proof of concept to illustrate key functionality.
Keolis is now able to support new channels for remote ticketing and top-up.
