If you’re curious about the potential of mobile payment solutions like NFC, you should talk to us. We’ve been handling the secure data of banks and payment institutions for over 25 years.
So while we’re thrilled to see where NFC takes the industry, we know that our role, as the link between card issuers and mobile network operators is no different to what we’ve been doing for a quarter of a century.
We support the full range of NFC technologies including passive RFID stickers, micro SD cards, active stickers, skins and fully-fledged NFC.
Our work falls into two categories:
Application provider
- Full range of scheme branded payment apps – Visa/MasterCard/Amex.
- Wallet , enabling you to brand your customer experience and allowing them to manage their NFC applications.
- Ticketing systems tailored for regional and national use.
- Loyalty, giftcard and pre-paid applications.
- Marketing and service discovery with NFC smart posters.
Application Issuer
We prepare your user data in the usual way, but instead of issuing the application to a card, we issue it to a phone. For SIM-based secure elements, we carry out the secure data exchange with the mobile network operators who deliver them to customers’ handsets. For approaches that are not SIM-centric, we personalise the NFC chip directly.
Near field communications and the future of payments
The ubiquity of mobile phones is a force you can’t ignore. Your customers have mobile phones, and many have mobiles before they have payment cards. Naturally, the potential of turning a mobile handset into a payment device is exciting the industry.
The many bold predictions about the value of this market make one very clear point; NFC is the perfect bridge between the world of card-based applications and mobile handsets. Encasing the Secure Element inside a phone, whether it’s on the SIM or on a separate chip or micro SD card makes a lot of sense. It’s everyone’s favourite consumer technology.
Let’s talk about how we can deliver NFC to your customers.
